Gifts, Grants, and Volunteer Legal Services

Help us help people who need their driver’s licenses to get to work! Drive-To-Work relies on gifts and grants from our supporters, including individuals, organizations, and foundations. Drive-To-Work is a 501(c) tax-exempt organization, which means your charitable gift is tax-deductible.

Drive-To-Work also receives grants appropriated by the Virginia General Assembly (DCJS Grant Number 25-K2547OT221). In addition, it earns revenue from fees paid by clients and DTW Driving School students as well as from services rendered to state and private organizations.

This project is supported by the Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Grant Number 25-I2547AD16, with funds made available to the Commonwealth of Virginia from the Office of Justice Programs, U. S. Department of Justice.

Second Chance Community Luncheon

The  Annual Second Chance Community Luncheon is our biggest fundraiser. The 2025 luncheon will be held on Monday, October 6, in the ballroom of The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond. Registration and networking begin at 11:30 a.m., and the luncheon starts at noon.
