Organization 

Organization. Drive-To-Work is a Virginia non-stock corporation qualifying as a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization. It was founded in 2007 by O. Randolph Rollins, a former Virginia Secretary of Public Safety, a member of the Virginia State Bar, and a retired partner of McGuireWoods LLP, a national law firm based in Richmond, Virginia.  

Location and Staff. Drive-To-Work has offices at 4625 W. Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23230. Its  staff consists of Ms. Wilson, two full-time employees and five part-time employees, including a staff attorney. Forty volunteer lawyers from corporate legal departments and private law firms have been trained to assist Drive-To-Work with court appearances and seminars on "How To Get Your License Back." Paralegal assistance is provided by McGuireWoods, LLP.

Financial Support. Drive-To-Work is supported by gifts and grants from individuals and foundations and by grants appropriated by the Virginia General Assembly (DCJS Grant No. #22-K2547OT221). In addition, it earns revenue from fees paid by clients and students and from services rendered to state and private organizations. For 2021, its operating budget is $387,368.
